Upcoming Events

We invite you to call or email for information, or to schedule a family or class visit.

We are a small family farm, so we are not generally open to the public. We do hold special events and workshops during the year, which require pre-registration.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1-2, 2014
SHEEP SCHOOL

If you are curious about starting your own flock of sheep — especially as grazers and weed eaters in a sustainably farmed vineyard or orchard, as wool producers, or even as a 4H project — this two-day workshop will help you understand the basics, get some hands-on experience, and gain the knowledge and confidence to get started.
The cost is $185 for the class and handout materials, snacks, our famous and delicious lunches, and a social/wine tasting hour when we conclude Saturday’s session. Participation is limited (children under 12 not encouraged to attend). To reserve your spot, email sheep@canvasranch.com.
